N2 – Calcareous Scots pine forests:
Open relic calcareous Pinus sylvestris forests with calcifrequent herb layer are connected to the calcareous bedrock (sand, sandstone, limestone phyllite) and to the locally drier habitats in a relatively wet climate. The total area of this rare habitat is around 60 ha, 45 ha out of that are on Bakonyalja, between Fenyőfő and Bakonyszentlászló. The rest can be found on Nyugat-Dunántúl, in the northeastern part of the Zalai-dombság and in the Kőszegi-hegység.
