L2x Plant invasion in foothill mixed oak woodlands



L2x - Foothill mixed oak woodlands:

50% of its area is endangered by plant invasion. There is considerable spatial variation of alien species cover, but there is no recognizable geographical pattern. Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) is the most important invasive plant, but invasion by tree of haven (Ailanthus altissima) is also important threatening factor.
