84% of its area is endangered by plant invasion. Each of the four most important species – green ash (Fraxinus pennsylvanica), boxelder (Acer negundo), false indigo (Amorpha fruticosa) and wild cucumber (Echinocystis lobata) –endangers more than half of its area, but goldenrod species (Solidago spp.) and adventive grapevines (Vitis spp.) are also alien species.
