F2 Plant invasion in salt meadows

F2 - Salt meadows:

12% of its area is endangered by plant invasion. Although invasive species of wet meadows (e.g. Solidago spp., Amorpha fruticosa) also occur here, the most important invaders – likely to other alkaline habitats – is the Russian olive (Elaeagnus angustifolia). Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) is also seems to be important invaders, but most of the stands where Robinia occurs should not have been classified into this habitat category.
